Convert Dvi To Coax How Well Can A 1280x720 Resolution Lcd Computer Monitor Be Used As A TV? What Do I Need To Set It Up As Such?

How well can a 1280x720 resolution lcd computer monitor be used as a TV? What do I need to set it up as such? - convert dvi to coax

I was thinking about purchasing a LCD screen, in the hope of using it as a TV. It has a 1280x720 resolution, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, 19:9 contrast ratio and response time of 15ms. The entrances are equipped with digital DVI input, RGB, component and S-video. He claims that with 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i to be compatible.

First, I was hoping someone could tell me if the screen of the TV does a good job. Can also be used as a TV set instead of a computer screen? Stretching or bad image in any way by the screen resolution? To be good, connected a system like a PS3 game?

If it's worth what it is like a TV? Am I obligated to buy a specific type of coaxial cable converter modules with some sort of external tuner, so you can change the channel?

AYou nything is useful and I thank you very much.

This also works for an HD display of 720p.

You will need a DVI-HDMI cable for the PS3 at the highest resolution, and you must connect a separate audio source in conjunction, of course.

To turn on a TV, you need an external tuner SD or HD tuner. Included (cable or DirecTV receiver), one or all the products that are able to connect to your monitor, but again had to DVI-HDMI is the best choice.

Hope this helps!

The resolution of this monitor is better than the resolution of existing TV (unless you have) an HDTV.

Your configuration works. You can guarantee your PS3 directly to him. Thus you can see in a simple way to watch movies and play video games on it.

If you watch TV, you will find a separate TV tuner must. You can find online for $ 50 or more, depending on the quality you want.
